My Best so Far

Sunday, September 25, 2005 | No comments

For my readers, here is a compilation of my most popular blog posts thus far.

Silicon Valley Leadership: The Quest for a Legacy
Team-of-Twenty-One
Oracle: Next Stop Manhattan
Affluenza
Microsoft’s two should-be M&A considerations
That Dog in your Portfolio
SiP versus Structured ASICs
Hey, CEO: Do you know how to Dress?
Open Source of Book Publishing?
SiP is a major discontinuity
Mentor Graphics: Target for SilverLake?
What’s after Starbucks?

Of these, the ones I enjoyed writing the most were Affluenza (which I wrote on a flight between SFO and JFK), and Starbucks (which I wrote on a Saturday afternoon soon after watching the film, Ray). Team-of-Twenty-One reflects my deeply held belief that cultures ought to be preserved, not destroyed. Hey, CEO … provides a value judgement on the importance of right-brained creativity and good design, something I treasure equally as much as all the hard-core science. That Dog … is being widely read as a management tool.

Anyway, thought you would enjoy this list …
