Decomcratizing Broadcast Audio
When I was growing up in India, Television had not yet penetrated the market. The radio, however, was a major contributor in our entertainment consumption. One of my favorite genre, then, was the RadioPlay. I even produced and acted in a couple of these later, in the mid nineties. But, it was a MAJOR effort.
I am delighted, therefore, to see the uptake of Podcasting as a medium, and how easy it is becoming to record & distribute audio shows via Podcasting. Here is a pointer to a professional Podcast kit.

The heart behind Apple’s iPod is an Indian brain- PORTAL PLAYER. Their offshore teams did the basics right and now Portal Player(Ticker: PLAY) is going to enjoy the iPod mania and ride the wave.
There are similar success stories in India which the world is unawre of.
