Prashant Sachdev is the founder of onion.tv, which works toward enhancing the media playback experience by integrating video with range of relevant information. He began his entrepreneurial studies at Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India and later completed MBA in entrepreneurship from Babson College with a focus on managing technology-intensive enterprises. He did his undergraduate work in computer engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology.
Previously, he worked with Kenati Technologies, which was later acquired by 2Wire Inc, and consulted a couple of multinational companies and startups. He is passionate about digital media, TV, and embedded devices. He is an active member of TIE and Net Impact and currently leads Net Impact Pune. His long-term vision is to promote entrepreneurship, and he has begun his efforts by setting up the Open Library for Entrepreneurship Development.
