TiE Mumbai and Indian Angel Network are co-hosting this one day event with Sramana Mitra for entrepreneurs in Mumbai, India, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. IST, on Saturday, April 16, 2011. This event is a part of the 1M/1M initiative, started by Sramana Mitra in 2010 with the goal of helping one million entrepreneurs each reach $1 million in revenue and beyond.
During the roundtable sessions, Sramana will offer help to prepare entrepreneurs to take full advantage of the Microsoft BizSpark India Startup Challenge, which is awarding $100,000 in total grants to four startups with winning ideas in the cloud and mobile categories. Entrepreneurs are invited to attend Sramana Mitra’s keynote address discussing the 1M/1M Methodology: Bootstrapping, Positioning and Lean Startups, followed by the opportunity to ask questions. Then entrepreneurs can participate in two in-person strategy roundtables to receive some real time coaching and answers to questions about their startup ventures. Up to ten entrepreneurs will be able to pitch their businesses to Sramana Mitra during these sessions. The venue is Welingkar Management Institute, Matunga (near Dadar), Mumbai.
