More than 50 business leaders, technology innovators and thought leaders from academia will share their insights with more than 800 attendees on how CIOs can pilot their organizations toward their goals at the ninth annual MIT Sloan CIO Symposium on May 22, 2012 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). This year’s theme is “Piloting the Untethered Enterprise.”
The one-day event will begin at 7:30 am and conclude at 8:30 pm EST at Kresge Auditorium on MIT’s campus in Cambridge, Mass. Those who are interested in attending can register here.
In addition, there is a call for applications for the 2012 MIT Sloan CIO Innovation Showcase. This is gives early stage technology companies an opportunity to connect with CIOs, senior business and IT executives, and venture capitalists. Four of the 2011 Innovation Showcase finalists have received venture funding, and one, Rypple, was acquired by Salesforce.com. CloudSwitch, a 2010 finalist was acquired by Verizon.
