November 1 – Kolkata 1M/1M Pitch-Fest Competition

To further advance initiatives to develop entrepreneurship in Bengal, 1M/1M is joining hands with several Kolkata organizations to hold the Kolkata 1M/1M Pitch-Fest Competition on Thursday, November 1, 2012, at iLEAD in Kolkata, India. Through an application process, 10 companies will be selected to pitch their businesses to Sramana Mitra. Each 5-minute pitch will be followed by a 5-minute strategic analysis by Sramana. A panel of judges, including Sramana Mitra, Ambarish Dasgupta, Executive Director/Partner and PwC India Consulting Leader, Abhishek Rungta, CEO of IndustNet, and Pallav Nadhani, CEO of FusionCharts, will select the top 6 entrepreneurs who will each be awarded a full tuition to Sramana’s 1M/1M program – valued at $1,000 each.

Criteria for Selection:

·  Online Education

Benefits for Presenters:

8:10 p.m. IST – Winners announced, closing remarks
