As a previous NetApp Excellerator startup co-founder and 1Mby1M Premium member, Adya CEO Deepak Balakrishna says, “Working with Sramana as part of the 1Mby1M program has been invaluable for Adya as a bootstrapped company to better understand how to best position the product while working within constraints. Sramana has a very fresh perspective that supports bootstrapped startups making slow, steady progress without necessitating the need for institutional investments.”

1Mby1M’s Incubator-In-A-Box (IIAB) is used by various partners to extend the scope of their services. Founder Sramana Mitra says:

We consider accelerators around the world our partners, not competitors. 1Mby1M works with accelerators anywhere in the world and helps them gain access to Silicon Valley’s eco-system and methodology. We have a powerful, proven online curriculum that you can readily offer to your constituency to bring structure to your program. We also have regular and systematic mentoring on a weekly basis. In addition, our powerful rolodex is all yours through this partnership.

1Mby1M also offers scale to physical accelerators who often have limited capacity. To develop a community into a thriving entrepreneurial hub, hundreds of entrepreneurs needs to be nurtured. By partnering with 1Mby1M, accelerators can vastly expand their capacity to support  a larger number of entrepreneurs.

1Mby1M also offers reach. If an accelerator is headquartered in one city, and wants to open additional branches in five other locations, it is easy to do so with 1Mby1M because of the virtual structure of the program.

Founded by serial entrepreneur and strategist Sramana Mitra in 2010, the One Million by One Million (1Mby1M) global virtual accelerator, headquartered in Silicon Valley, aims to nurture a million entrepreneurs to reach a million dollars each in annual revenue and beyond, thereby creating a trillion dollars in global GDP and ten million jobs.
