Sramana Mitra: The game hasn’t been released yet?

Tobias Seidl: No. What we are offering on our platform is for early-stage companies to share future profits. For revenue-making companies, they share a part of their revenues. We always have a balance of these two components.

Sramana Mitra: What is the profile of the investors who are coming onto your platform?

Tobias Seidl: We are not actively marketing the projects that are coming to our platform. The projects that come to our platform bring their own investors. Then active investors on STOKR can also participate. We encourage the project to have anchor investors or a big community around the product.

Sramana Mitra: What do you know about the kinds of investors that are coming to your platform?

Tobias Seidl: The majority are between 18 and 35. These are people who are more tech-savvy. You can invest in our platform through cryptocurrencies. We have more tech-savvy millennial customers who are early adopters. You need to connect your Blockchain address on our platform. We have more than 6,000 active investors on our platform.

Sramana Mitra: How are you financed?

Tobias Seidl: We are bootstrapped. We put in our money. It was around $1 million. There are seven co-founders. A year later, we got interest from a strategic. All our investors are strategic investors.

Sramana Mitra: What is your revenue model?

Tobias Seidl: We take a management fee. We also take a success fee – a percentage of the money raised.

Sramana Mitra: What percentage are those?

Tobias Seidl: It depends on the project. In general, we take around 4% to 5% success fee. TTen, we take around 10 basis points for management fee.

Sramana Mitra: How many projects have you done on your platform so far?

Tobias Seidl: We have done four projects so far. In the next quarter, we are bringing out two other projects which are bigger. We are aiming for tokenization of 100 million euros. This will happen over the next quarter.

Sramana Mitra: What is the total amount you’ve raised so far? How much revenue have you made so far?

Tobias Seidl: We started with advising ICO’s in the beginning. We count this in our fundraising process. On our platform, we are doing around $15 million. The new Blockchain mining project that we’re going to introduce is going to do $100 million on fundraising.

Sramana Mitra: Of a $15 million fundraise, what kind of revenue are you doing? When you get to $100 million, what kind of revenue do you think you’re going to get?

Tobias Seidl: We’re targeting a revenue of five million euros for the first or second quarter next year. To generate revenues, we need to raise an additional amount of money beginning of next year.

Sramana Mitra: How big is your team?

Tobias Seidl: We have 12 people. We have an office in Hamburg and Berlin. Then we have remote people in Bulgaria, Argentina, Spain, New York. We are very decentralized.

Sramana Mitra: Thank you for your time.
