Sramana Mitra: Tell me more about this last use case where you take over the screen of the user and fix problems. How well-deployed is that?
Muddu Sudhakar: All of our customers are using that today. We now have 75 million users worldwide.
Sramana Mitra: How many customers is that?
Muddu Sudhakar: We have around 70 plus customers.
Sramana Mitra: And they’re all using this?
Muddu Sudhakar: Yes. The automation you do for the back office, I do for the front office. Citrix is not working. VMWare is not working. IT will take over your laptop.
Sramana Mitra: That’s amazing.
Muddu Sudhakar: The large SaaS don’t want the workflows to be automated. If you look at the workflows, this is where all the system integrations made their money for the last 20 years whether you are Infosys or TCS.
Sramana Mitra: If you look at all 70 customers and all the ROI that you have delivered, what are we talking in terms of people savings? How many people are not necessary because of implementing the software.
Muddu Sudhakar: In all my customers, not even one customer was laid off. By adding this, the frontline workers become senior people. The mundane tasks are what we’ve offloaded.
Sramana Mitra: Taking over a screen and troubleshooting isn’t necessarily a mundane task.
Muddu Sudhakar: The question is the IT administrator doesn’t have to do it. He can do the complex stuff. He may focus on some other areas. We empowered the customer service and IT administrators so well.
Sramana Mitra: So nobody lost a job. Where did you deliver the ROI?
Muddu Sudhakar: From the future growth of not having to hire more people. By doing AI correctly, you can invest in your people.
Sramana Mitra: In the current customer base, there is no gain by saving on people. It’s all software and future hires.
Muddu Sudhakar: It’s not that there is no gain. There is gain from outside. What I’ve noticed with customers is, if you have 20 customer service agents, you’re still going to invest in them by making them efficient. You’re not going to hire new people. Those people have moved up to the next level and become more productive.
Sramana Mitra: What is the situation with the company right now? You have 70 customers. I take it they’re multi-million dollar deals.
Muddu Sudhakar: Deal size is all over the place for us. There are million-dollar deals and six-figure deals. We have 150 employees and are growing 300% year over year. 2020 and 2021 were the best years for us.
Sramana Mitra: What about revenue level?
Muddu Sudhakar: We have been growing steadily over the last three years. We have reached a point where the number of customers we are adding is increasing. The other thing that’s important is the number of users. AI is important, but are the people using the product? The count that we go after is the number of daily active users. We have close to 75 million active users.
Sramana Mitra: Are you going to go public soon?
Muddu Sudhakar: No, it’s still four years. This journey will take at least another three years.
Sramana Mitra: Excellent story. Thank you for your time.
