Welcome to the 1M/1M Ambassadors program!

Some housekeeping to move forward: The next steps for the program are outlined here: 1M/1M Ambassadors Program. Please go through them and decide if you can follow through on the commitment needed to make this happen. If you do decide to move forward, please state your geographical preferences in the geographical allocation discussion thread, and also give your email ID so that I can share some Google docs with you.

Also, the next roundtable is on Thursday, February 18. It would be great if you could attend, to get a feel for the live session. You can register here. I will take some time at the roundtable to answer questions about 1M/1M. If you cannot make it, please do listen to the recording afterwards. The recording on the registration page of the last roundtable also discusses the EJ methodology, which I strongly encourage you to take a look at. The roundtables are the cornerstone of the 1M/1M program.

To those who already have allocated geographies, many of you have started working on your groups. I have received emails from you about your progress. Venkatesh asked me about keeping potential EDO partners notified about the upcoming programs. You can make a list of those you want to keep in the loop and send it to Maureen Kelly at maureen@sramanamitra.com. We have a central email system which will take care of the notification process on a regular basis without your having to bother about it.

Also, some of you with allocated geographies have decided that you cannot invest the time required to manage 20 EDO relationships. If that is the case, just let me know so we can reallocate your geography and reallocate the EDOs. In fact, if you decide to pull out, I request that you work with Ruchi Sharma (ruchi@violetink.com) to ensure that your geographies and EDOs are properly reallocated.

Finally, some of you are sending me private emails with ideas and additions to the strategy for the program. Please use the 1M/1M Strategy thread for this purpose. I can’t engage with each of you individually and repeat the same content to hundreds of people over and again. And please understand that the strategy and methodology that I have come up with is based on 15 years of experience and four years of research on the EJ project. Chances are, most of your issues are already addressed in it, so before you come up with random ideas, do study what is already in place. I do not want us to waste time and energy reinventing the wheel.
